The vice-president and MP of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Aleksandra Vuković Kuč, claims that the chief special prosecutor Vladimir Novović selectively administers justice and has become a "political whip" in the hands of the ruling majority.
"Only selective justice is worse than injustice. There is no alternative in the fight against corruption, but political bribery is the most dangerous, especially if the prosecution is susceptible to it. Vladimir Novović does not budge on the adjudicated damage of 250.000 euros caused to the state, caused by the illegal actions of Minister Bratić, nor ex officio reacted to the double negative opinion of the DRI on the work of the Ministry of Finance, led by the current Prime Minister, while sensationally arresting the director of the ASK, due to the report of the budget inspection of the Ministry of Finance, which should be under the watchful eye of the prosecution. No one should be above the state , nor to play with her budget, but this political bias of the special state prosecutor is now exposed and a warning, because it seems that he has become a political whip in the hands of the ruling majority," the announcement states.
