The absence of support for the provision of the same rights and obligations to life partners of persons of the same sex, by the representatives of the coalition "For the Future of Montenegro" - President of the Committee for Human Rights and Freedoms Jovan Vučurović and MP Milun Zogović - confirms once again that their understanding of values conflicts with European integration. of our country, announced the deputy of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Drita Lola.
It indicates that Vučurović and Zogović at today's session of the Parliamentary Committee for Political System, Judiciary and Administration did not support the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Non-Litigation Procedure, as well as the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Obligations.
"Both proposals of the Government of Montenegro were submitted to the parliamentary procedure in order to ensure the full application of the Law on Life Partnership of Persons of the same sex, in such a way that partners in the union of persons of the same sex would acquire a status identical to that of married spouses. However, this civilizational standard which is at the same time the basis of human rights, logically he did not come across an understanding of their policy which continues to show intolerance towards others," said Lola.
