I called the elections in Budva in the shortest possible time and thus helped to finish the elections in Budva before the start of the season, said the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović.
Answering questions from journalists at the opening of the International Conference of Montenegrin Security Managers, which is being held in Budva, he said that it is important to finish the election process as soon as possible.
"I have a very clear constitutional deadline of 60 to 100 days when the president calls for elections. I did it in the shortest possible time in order to further help Budva to finish the elections before the start of the season. I think it was the only logical solution, I acted quickly responsible. It's good that Budva is going to the elections, that way a very complicated political situation that existed until now will be resolved," said Milatović.
Commenting on the fact that the President of the Assembly Andrija Mandić and the leader of the Democratic People's Party (DNP) Milan Knežević attended the military exercise of the Serbian Army, Milatović said that he did not have details, but that the citizens should answer the legitimate question in which format and context they attended the exercise yesterday.
"Mandić is a member of the Council for Defense and Security. Montenegro is a NATO country, we are a good neighbor and we want the best relations with everyone, including Serbia," stated Milatović.
