YES After the current moment in Ukraine, Brussels realized that the enlargement policy is important in the context of the security of the European continent, said the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović.
He points out that it is important that the Government works dedicatedly on this, as it is doing, and what the previous and 42nd Governments did.
He believes that we have accomplished the most difficult thing when it comes to obtaining IBAR, which is the appointment of the most important functions in the judiciary.
"If we don't get IBAR at this moment and in the environment of changed geopolitical circumstances, it would be as if we came in front of an empty goal and missed," he says.
However, he says that Montenegro has a lot of hard work ahead of it.
"IBAR is just one step on the European road, it is not the end of the road. When we get IBAR, we will also get the final, final benchmarks for chapters 23 and 24, and then the hard work is ahead. Many chapters are ready to be closed".
