The Parliament of Montenegro achieved great results when it comes to the reforms necessary for the further process of accession to the European Union (EU), it was assessed at the meeting between the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Andrija Mandić and the President of the National Assembly of Hungary Lasl Kover.
As stated in the Assembly's announcement, Mandić met today with Kover in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, during the Conference of Presidents of the Parliaments of the EU Member States.
Mandić expressed his satisfaction at meeting Kover again, whom he considered a true friend of Montenegro.
"They also referred to the intensive fight that Montenegro is waging against organized crime. Kover pointed out that it is extremely good that numerous processes have been initiated, but that from the perspective of EU membership, it is extremely important that these processes receive a judicial epilogue," he writes. in the statement.
According to reports, Mandić and Kover also discussed numerous problems affecting the region and the whole of Europe, and reached a high level of agreement on them.
At the very end of the meeting, Mandić pointed out that he was looking forward to visiting Kover, which is planned for the end of this year.
