The civil movement URA announced today that it provides sincere support to the chief special state prosecutor Vladimir Novović, the head of the Special Police Department Predrag Šuković and all employees of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT), to continue with the started activities aimed at achieving the rule of law and comprehensive struggle against organized crime and corruption.
"At the same time, we condemn the inappropriate pressure on their work that has been evident in recent days, which comes from some political parties, NGOs, supported by non-official power centers close to criminal structures in Montenegro. On the other hand, the attitude of the Government of Montenegro headed by the Prime Minister is astonishing Miloj Spajić and the Minister of Justice, Andrej Milović, who do not condemn the harsh attacks on the work of SDT, which aim to blunt the blade directed against organized crime and corruption of the Parliamentary Committee for Defense and Security, Miodrag Laković, and all with the tacit support of Prime Minister Spajić, openly attacked Šuković with the aim of his dismissal, promising that one of the two would soon not be in high positions," URE said.
