Spajić on Đukanović's statements: The best revenge is results in infrastructure

The best revenge is the results in infrastructure, announced the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milojko Spajić.

He said this at a press conference in the Government, commenting on the statements of the former President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, in an interview with Antena M.

"I want all of us to take revenge for the bad management of the country in the past by doing a much better job of running the country and raising the infrastructure to a level unimaginable in Montenegro. In my opinion, that is the best revenge," Spajić said.

Speaking about the latest arrests of current and former officials, Đukanović said in that interview, among other things, that "we live in a highly poisoned atmosphere", which shows that "the blackmail in Montenegro will continue". He stated that he is warning about this because Montenegrin society is a "society of avengers".

At the press conference, Spajić did not want to say whether Montenegro will sponsor the United Nations (UN) Resolution on the remembrance of the genocide in Srebrenica, and pointed out that it will "co-sponsor the infrastructure in Montenegro".

"We will explain to the public in a timely manner all issues that do not concern infrastructure," Spajić said.

He also refused to comment on the fact that the President of the Parliament of Montenegro and the leader of the New Serbian Democracy (NSD) Andrija Mandić and the President of the Democratic People's Party (DNP) Milan Knežević attended the military exercise of the Serbian Army.
