Systemic collapse, unrecognizability, natural development, bad interpersonal relations, state of communal order, decline in sports results, cultural devastation, negative image, affairs, corruption, decline of the value system, represent a very difficult situation in Budva that has been going on for almost a decade, Nikola Milović announced today who will lead the list of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) in the upcoming local elections in Budva "Budva can do better!".

"Budva, once a leading tourist destination, has unfortunately lost its leading position as a city that dictates the pace of development in Montenegro. Unfortunately, Budva has enough negative experience and it's time to stop the spiral of decline of our city. The responsibility I feel as a faculty professor as well as the bad condition of our city are dominant influenced and were an extremely strong motive for me to get involved in political life. I am proud to point out that I grew up in Budva, that we all share the same values here, which are connected to our memories and the feeling of belonging to this city. As your fellow citizen who was shaped by Budva childhood, sports, primary and secondary school, family and friends, I have an obligation to change things and start a dynamic and responsible development," Milović pointed out in a statement.
He added that his vision is for Budva to become a modern, touristic, sports, cultural and creative center of the Adriatic.
"Budva must once again become the most attractive city to live and work in. Budva, as part of the world's fashion trends, must once again leave its mark and be a leader in the development of the whole of Montenegro. We want Budva to be a city recognized for its beauty and the power of creating a positive experience, a city that creates, creates and represents the tourism brand of Montenegro. A city that will be recognized for its efficient management and the quality of services provided to citizens and the economy. That is why Budva urgently needs a clear development strategy. They must be professionals, with knowledge, experience, a huge dose of ethics and responsibility, but also the wisdom that has always adorned this city. To build and awaken hope that things can change and that we will change them," said Milović.
He said that "with this vision and city development program and a respectable list of candidates, with me as the holder of the list, let's meet the expectations of the citizens that in the future they will be represented by people who are there thanks to their own merits and personal competences and knowledge".
"This city must finally get a responsible government and a coalition that will give birth to the first man, as this city deserves, one who will not abuse the trust given to him. I will fight and as the first among equals to impose the right values. This will be a city that should know that is dealing with its own development. We will win in Budva, we will restore its old glory, it will be a modern Mediterranean city with the highest level of quality of life in Montenegro. It will shine as a city of culture, history, good relations, a real homely approach, a city of security and certainty a city of true values," said Milović.
He said that Budva will be organizationally superior, that it will be admired by everyone, both those who come on vacation and those who work and live in it.
"Because... Budva can do better. Budva must do better. Budva deserves better," concluded Milović.
