The former leader of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) and former president of the state and government, Milo Đukanović, has no international support for the first time in history, so his last chance is the judges who will postpone various trials and procedures, believes the leader of the Movement for Change (PzP) Nebojša Medojević.
Medojević said in the show "Klub A plus" that the current arrests have nothing to do with the will of Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, nor with the entire Government.
"The arrests are the result of Vladimir Novović and Predrag Šuković. Sukovic communicates directly with the American office, and the Americans demand arrests and results. We can be relaxed, because the team helping Šuković is very serious. These are serious professionals who have serious resources and don't leave the job until the end", Medojević believes.
Medojević believes that Đukanović no longer controls American actions, so the judges are his last chance.
"We saw that in the example of Boris Savić, who has not been heard even to this day. Judges are, therefore, key players for Đukanović, namely Savić and Suzana Mugoša," he said.
In the show, Medojević called Đukanović "a wounded mobster who no longer has operational power or logistics."
"For the first time, he is threatened and neither lobbyists nor money help him. He is confused, there is no one to call in the White House anymore," claims Medojević.
According to him, as long as the DPS exists, there is a real danger that Montenegro will be called Colombia on the Adriatic.
"Key political decisions are made outside the institutions of the system. In 2020, Đukanović made a deal with internal actors, media owners and tobacco tycoons to have immunity from criminal prosecution, and in return not to interfere or challenge the peaceful transition of power," claims Medojević.
According to him, Đukanović should be immediately summoned to the Prosecutor's Office for questioning, because there are reasonable suspicions that he is the head of an organized criminal group in Montenegro.
"If I were in the government, I would insist that Đukanović be immediately detained and questioned by the prosecutor. He would still be in custody tonight. He is a very dangerous man. "A lot of people have paid with their heads for these 30 years because they resented him," he said.
Marović to be a cooperating witness and reveal everything about the Đukanovićs
Medojević claims that each of the former DPS officials had information about the affairs of the Đukanović brothers.
"I would not be surprised if an international factor pressured the former president of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro, Svetozar Marović, to be a cooperating witness in those proceedings," Medojević believes.
Medojević claims that the former mayor of Podgorica, Miomir Mugoša, also possessed this information, who, as he claims, once threatened to make it public if he was arrested.
"They didn't touch him and he was calm. Vesna Medenica also has various data. The only one who didn't take advantage of it was Svetozar Marović, and that's why he was arrested," Medojević believes.
Medojević states that there is no concrete evidence for numerous corrupt actions regarding the connection between the mafia and the state, except for the Sky correspondence and the Europol report.
"Marović could reveal at least everything about cigarette smuggling," Medojević said.
Krivokapić is the same Šojić, DPS leads a wasted policy
Commenting on the former Prime Minister of Montenegro Zdravko Krivokapić, Medojević said that there is no difference between him and the character from the popular series Srećko Šojić.
"That man is an ordinary caricature, except that cigarette smuggling in Montenegro continued during his mandate. In Krivopkapić's government, there were total anonymous people who became millionaires, and from all of that, the Europe Now Movement (PES) was born," Medojević believes.
Speaking about the DPS, Medojević said that the party now leads an anachronistic and wasted policy.
"The stories about the Church of Serbia are still held, and life brings them shots and goals and it is proven that they are losing their importance. People are no longer interested in those stories in terms of political ratings," stated Medojević.
I expected Milatović to form a party, he is not well versed in politics
Medojević, speaking about the President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović and his political engagement, said that he expected Milatović to already form a political organization or political movement.
"Milatović is not good at politics. He still can't seem to get over the fact that he's become president. He has not stepped on the presidential shoes yet, and time in politics goes and does not wait. He should have already formed a party with clear programmatic foundations. I see that he is critical of Spajić. In this way, the foundations for the formation of an anti-mafia and reform bloc can already be laid. People who want Montenegro to be a legal state, without the embrace of the DPS and the mafia, should be invited there," said Medojević.
The government is very weak, Spajić will soon leave Montenegro
Commenting on the current political situation, Medojević believes that the government led by Milojko Spajić is very weak.
"Everyone is at odds with each other, and everyone is trying not to get arrested and to protect themselves. We have seen that Spajić is now very interested in the security sector, although he emphasizes that he is not. After all, he deserves to be prosecuted. He was brought here just to take commissions from borrowing and from the highway," stated Medojević.
Medojević claims that Spajić will very likely leave Montenegro soon.
"It is the profile of a man who wants to quickly take a certain amount of money and make a few harmful contracts, so he will either go to Miami or to Singapore. You can't take his word for it," claims Medojević.
In his opinion, PES is collapsing Montenegro with dangerous populism and, as he claims, will bring it to the point of bankruptcy.
"It is a movement that does not have any ideology. It will lead Montenegro to a debt crisis like in Greece", Medojević concluded.
