The European Parliament (EP) has just adopted the Instrument for the Reform and Development of the Western Balkans, which gives Montenegro access to over 400 million euros in soft loans and grants for the implementation of reforms, announced the Minister of European Affairs, Maida Gorčević.
"With this instrument, we will help the growth of the Montenegrin economy, meet the goals of the reform agenda and thus get closer to membership in the family of European democracies. This initiative reflects the intention of the European Union (EU) to integrate the Western Balkans faster, with gradual participation in the EU single market, encouraging faster achievement standards of the EU economy," said Gorčević on the social network Iks.
