Mladen Mikijelj, the holder of the "For the future of Budva - Budva open city" list, announced that they reject talks with the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and "satellite lists" and called on all parties to make a clear statement on this issue.
As he said, he said this on the occasion of DPS' desire to talk to everyone about possible post-election coalitions.
"Our coalition wants to make it clear that it will not participate in talks with a party that has remained unchanged, the same as when it was in power. DPS is still nothing more than an organized criminal group. DPS, a party that has been driven by personal interests for decades, cannot be part of our plan for the future of Budva. Our commitment is to take over public, responsible and joint administration, and cooperation with a party burdened with scandals and corruption would be a return to the ugly past for Budva, which we all love," said Mikijelj.
He called on all political parties in Budva to publicly state their views on potential coalitions with DPS, because, he explains, the citizens of Budva deserve to know if their votes will be used for cooperation with those who brought Budva to the brink of ruin.
"Our call is clear: Only through stability, unity and honesty can we ensure that Budva moves forward, without the burden of the past. We will not allow the history of abuse and corruption to repeat itself. We stand firmly with our citizens and invite all parties to join this fight for a fairer , a safer and more prosperous Budva," he concluded.
