The list holder of the civil coalition of SDP, SD and LP, Petar Odžić, announced that this coalition never even thought about cooperation with the coalition "For the future of Budva - Budva open city" led by Mladen Mikijelj. He was reacting to Mikijelj's announcement that the coalition does not want cooperation with DPS, SDP and "satellite groups".
"Mr. Mikijelj, where did you get the idea that the civil coalition of SDP, SD and LP would even talk to you about any kind of cooperation? The fact that you reduced the coalition capacity to recent political enemies from DPS speaks only about you and the way you managed the city! The desolate coffers of the tourist organization, chaos on the beaches without tenders being carried out, dozens of predatory quasi-projects of your political mentor, cultural magician and robber from the era of the great DPS, the biggest budget deficit in history, the failed project 'Budva capital of culture' with spent funds, New Year's of half a million euros at a time when the city is not functioning are just some of the things that discredit you for any conversation," stated Odžić in his reaction and added:
"In addition, Mr. Mikijelj, and if there were people who would cooperate with you after the elections, do you think that, if they knew the political situation in Budva, they would talk to you, and not to your mentors from Belgrade?! The ferry coalition, formed out of impotence, is facing a political debacle that will have its epilogue on May 26! Mr. Mikijelj, stick to taxi licenses, temporary locations and beach bars, don't waste your energy on serious political topics, that's not for you!" concluded Odžić.
