It is evident that recently three elements - revanchism, selectivity and non-transparency in work characterize the functioning of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) and the prosecutor's office, said MP and vice-president of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Aleksandra Vuković Kuč.
In a statement, she stated that in the last four years, that party has filed hundreds of criminal charges for, as she claims, flagrant violations of the law, abuse of official positions and sheer crime and theft in our country, but the prosecutors have still not acted.
"For four years SDT has not responded to reports submitted by DPS, and regarding the situation in the Coal Mine, CEDIS, Montefarm, not to mention the reports on other companies in the energy sector. We also have the adjudicated case of Vesna Bratić, as well as the reactions of the institutions, in this case the SAI, which gave a double negative opinion on the work of the Ministry of Finance headed by Milojko Spajić. SDT is obliged to react to every double negative opinion of the company by official duty, they are silent and watch. It's a selective approach," Vuković Kuč pointed out.
She referred to the arrest of the director of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK) Jelena Perović and the former chief special prosecutor Milivoj Katnić, which "were accompanied by media and political pressure unprecedented in the Montenegrin political and social milieu."
She claims that the President of the Municipality of Budva and member of the Parliamentary Committee for Security and Defense, Milo Božović, was brought to the hearing without handcuffs, without sensationalism, pomp...

Stating that only the arrests of people from the former system were accompanied by inappropriate sensationalism, Vuković Kuč assessed that it is unacceptable that investigations last so long after such spectacular arrests, which seem as if there is already irrefutable material evidence against the detained persons and that they are just waiting for the judicial proceedings to be carried out. process.
She said that it is scandalous that the public does not have information about Katnić's condition, considering his medical history.
Vuković Kuč also reminded the public about the election of the new VDT, Milorad Marković.
"To the fact that all MPs from the DF circle said on that occasion that they would only vote for the candidate who would have the right attitude towards the so-called coup d'état, which represents a quintessential political influence on the processes, and resulted in the last report of the State department, where it is stated that the process of appointing judges and prosecutors was politicized".
The vice-president of the DPS added that the opposition members of the Security Committee submitted an initiative for the control hearing of the Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Internal Policy Aleksa Bečić, GST Vladimir Novović and VDT Milorad Marković, because they believe that political pressure was exerted by the Government representatives on the work of judicial authorities, which raises doubts about the selective approach of the prosecution in selecting priority cases for prosecution.
