Budva, as part of modern world trends, must once again leave its mark and be a leader in the development of the whole of Montenegro, said the holder of the electoral list "Budva can do better!" prof. Dr. Nikola Milović, at tonight's presentation of that list in Budva.

The list includes 33 candidates who, as announced by DPS, are "outstanding individuals, dedicated, responsible, accomplished people, ready to work in the best interest of Budva in the next four years."

"The responsibility I feel as a faculty professor, as well as the bad condition of our city, had a dominant influence and were an extremely strong motive for me to get involved in political life. I proudly point out that I grew up in Budva, that we all share the same values here, which are connected to our memories and sense of belonging to this city. My vision is for Budva to become a modern, touristic, sports, cultural and creative center of the Adriatic. Budva must once again become the most attractive city to live and work in! Budva, as a part of modern world trends, must once again leave its mark and be a leader in the development of the whole of Montenegro," Milović said.

He believes that Budva "will again be a city recognized for its beauty and the power of creating a positive experience", a city that creates, creates and represents the tourism brand of Montenegro, "a city that will be recognized for its efficient management and the quality of services provided to citizens, tourists and the economy."

"We will win in Budva, we will return it to its old glory, it will be a modern Mediterranean city with the highest level of quality of life in Montenegro. It will shine as a city of culture, history, good relations, tradition, a real homely approach, a city of security and certainty and a city of real values! Budva will be organizationally superior and will be admired by everyone, both those who come on vacation and those who work and those who live in it," concluded Milović.

Councilor candidate Milan Tičić said that the day is approaching when the government, which "failed its citizens in every way, will be sent to the past".

"Behind us are the painful years, behind us is the backlash and merciless fight for positions, years of empty promises. We will never again allow Budva to witness nepotism and party hiring, mutual quarrels and heavy accusations of crime and corruption, illegal appointments and dismissals of officials, and finally, the complete blockade of local administration. It's time for big changes. Because Budva can and must do better! It's time to put an end to the current local administration once and for all," said Tičić.

The candidate for councilor Ivana Lazović expressed her belief that the "great people from the winning list of councilors" will pledge their personal and professional integrity, so that their city would develop in the next four years.

"We can do better in culture, which has been brought to the lowest possible level, we can do better in the field of space construction, we can do better in arranging every free square for Mediterranean landscapes, we can do better in building transport infrastructure, we can do better in tourism, which rests on the economic power of the city and our citizens, we can do better, we can be fairer, we can be nicer, we have to be more decent", said Lazović.

Jovana Rabrenović, a candidate for councilor, pointed out that the prerequisite for building Budva as a city that will be an example to others is the policy of transparency, responsibility and cooperation. "We need leaders who listen to the voice of citizens and who are ready to work for the common interest of everyone in Budva".

Miloš Simović said that, as a former athlete and current sports worker, he will do everything to return Budva to its former glory.

"The fact that Budva is in the biggest institutional, political and social crisis in the last few decades shows that the previous executive power did not do its job well. That's why, instead of preparing for the new tourist season, we are preparing for new elections", concluded that candidate for councilor.
