The Parliamentary Club of the Movement Europe Now (PES) announced that they respect the resolution of the Assembly on the genocide in Srebrenica.

They remind that in 2009 the Montenegrin Parliament adopted the Declaration on the acceptance of the resolution of the European Parliament on Srebrenica, and that in 2021 the Resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica was adopted.

"We believe that our country, as a candidate for full membership in the EU, has an obligation to respect all the judgments of international courts, which have a clear position on this issue. We also respect all the resolutions adopted by the Montenegrin parliament, which also refer to genocides committed in our area in the previous period. We do not support imputing responsibility to any nation. We are absolutely against the use of this topic for daily political purposes, because it is an issue that opens the wounds of the past," the statement said.
