The Parliamentary Club of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) announced that the deputies of the Europe Now Movement (PES) refused to support the civilizing act behind which the leading countries of the democratic world gathered at the United Nations (UN) stand with their signatures.
"In addition to our absolute readiness to offer our colleagues from PES to supplement or amend the text by which MPs invite the government to join the co-sponsorship of the UN Resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica, the ruling party, which at the same time bears the name of Europe in its name, refused to sign support the act of civilization behind which the leading countries of the democratic world gathered at the UN stand," the announcement states.

"Despite the fact that the list of signatories of this letter includes representatives of the government and the opposition, which should have confirmed the readiness of all progressive policies in Montenegro to accept the civilizational standards of morality and humanity of the 21st century, the European Movement has now not found the strength to accept our offer Their subsequent announcement, and hiding behind the manipulative narrative that there are no genocidal nations, even though there is not a word about it in the text of the Resolution, speaks of the civilization gap between us. And yet, we hope that there is time, that what the PES failed to do in the parliament, the PES will not fail to do in the Government", concludes the parliamentary club of the DPS.
