The management of the municipality of Andrijevica will inform the Government of Montenegro and the Ministry of Public Administration (MJU) of the new situation as soon as possible and demand the dismissal of the current composition of the Board of Commissioners due to inefficiency and wrong moves that make life difficult for the average resident, announced the president of that municipality Željko Ćulafić.
He pointed out that citizens expect this from them, "considering that the board of commissioners in some municipalities has already been treated in this way".
Ćulafić reacted to the announcement of the Board of Commissioners of the Municipality of Andrijevica, in which, among other things, it is stated that the budget for this year has been adopted, as well as that the conditions have been created for holding the elections planned for June 2.

"In the past two days, several important facts have crystallized that should serve as a source of pride for everyone in the measure and manner in which someone treated the citizens of Andrijevica, on the one hand the leadership of the local self-government, and on the other hand the Board of Commissioners. First of all, we would like to point out that the management of the municipality Andrijevica showed exceptional negotiating potential when he managed to prevent several attempts to redo the budget, which were aimed at suspending positive regulations. When it comes to the capital segment, the Board tried with three versions of the amendment to deprive the municipality of development projects by reducing and concealing the revenues that already exist on in the municipality's account and thus prevented our citizens from realizing already started projects worth 1 million euros. The purposeful spending of these funds cannot be conditioned by some kind of strategic plan, as the Board of Trustees claims, but the way of spending is defined as a contractual obligation with the Administration for Capital projects, and the spending of that amount was approved by the Ministry of Finance. By doing so, the board placed itself above the law and prevented the municipality from implementing its contractual obligations, thus calling into question the termination of the contract itself. When it comes to the Board's amendments, we must point out that the citizens were denied the realization of capital projects this year in the amount of that million euros, and that was the exclusive goal, but apparently also the task of the Board of Trustees. The statements of the Board of Commissioners that in the current year 7,6 million capital projects from the state budget will be realized in our municipality are intended to present our poor municipality as an economic tiger, even though we belong to the ranks of underdeveloped municipalities, and to present that there is a construction boom taking place here. , and all with the aim of trying to cover up their actions and the effects they will cause. Every resident of Andrijevica knows that the House of Fruit project has been at a standstill for the last few years due to omissions in the planning documentation, that Eco katun Rujišta is only in the design phase which is being refined, that our children have been without a school hall for several years and that this is also the initial in the design phase, and that the transfer station does not have a connection to the voltage network due to an oversight in the design, so we are hereby telling the Board of Commissioners that the politics of Andrijevica cannot be conducted from Podgorica and Beran and that the management of the municipality is the best source of information when it comes to the status of projects." it is written in the announcement.
Ćulafić said that in the conflict between law and politics, the weaker always turns out to be the weaker side, in this case the citizens of Andrijevica.
"We tried as much as possible to mitigate the effects of the bad decisions of that Board, and we partially succeeded in that, in the way that the Board of Commissioners finally gave up on the illegal reduction of the budget of the municipal companies, because if the original intention had remained, the fifty employees of those companies would not have been able to receive more than ten salaries this year, which would be an unacceptable blow to those families, because the original intention of the Board was to act as an amendment and reduce the transfers to the JU Center for Culture in the amount of 54000 euros, which would make the functioning of that institution impossible the Board, but above all its personnel structure, sent a clear message that in the coming period, representing the policy of those who appointed them, wherever that political doctrine is questioned, they will carry out painful cuts which, we fear, will have the aim of firing workers," he states. are.
