As the vice-president of the Municipality of Budva and someone who has the authority to represent our Municipality in the domestic and international public, it is an understatement to say that I am appalled by the disrespect shown to the official representatives of the Municipality of Budva, by the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Andrija Mandić, announced the vice-president of the Municipality of Budva Jasna Dokić.
She pointed out that she was informed about the visit of the President of the Assembly of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova to Budva, which was initiated by Mandic, "through social networks used by JP Morsko dobro".
"In addition to an extremely inappropriate attempt to humiliate the existence of a legitimately elected vice-president, this also demonstrates the degree of indifference shown by the central authorities towards Budva for a long period of time," said Dokić.
She said that "the most surprising thing is that Mrs. Gafarova got involved in the pre-election campaign, directly aligning herself with one side".
Dokić said that she will inform the embassy of Azerbaijan and their diplomatic protocol about this, as well as the partners who monitor the local elections in Budva.
