The Municipal Election Commission of Budva has confirmed the electoral list "Democrats-Strengthen, Renovate, Revive - Budva decides, Đorđe Zenović", Demokrat announced.
The Democrats stated that they have thus officially become a participant in the election race from which, as they said, they will emerge as a key constituent of the future government.
"In the time of numerous combinators, realignments and heavy accusations on the Budva political stage, the Democrats will run an exclusively positive campaign, aimed at the promotion of well-known citizens, the people who make up our list, as well as the promotion of development projects and ideas for solving difficult problems, which is unfortunately a lot in our city," the announcement reads.
As stated, the holder of the electoral list, Đorđe Zenović, after confirming the list, called on the citizens of Budva to express themselves freely in the elections and to freely choose their representatives without fear of blackmail and pressure.
"And in the upcoming campaign, we will do our best to ensure that the 'Budva decides' list is your choice on May 26. What I can already guarantee today is the fact that the Democrats will be a key constituent of the future government, given that we have the broadest coalition capacity, and we assure the citizens that we will contribute to the stability of that government, which must finally carry out its work for the benefit of the development of our city, which, as the citizens know, was unfortunately sidelined in the previous period. We are here to stop that practice." emphasized Zenović.

"In the next month, we will bring our plans for the next 48 months closer to the citizens of Budva every day, in which we will exercise power with the aim of bringing Budva the renaissance they expect, and Budva deserves," concluded Zenović.
The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, has scheduled local elections in Budva for May 26.
