The son of lawyer Ana Đukanović and cousin of the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, Edin Kolarević reported to the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism (MORT) that he is starting to build a hostel on the land he bought in Kotor.
Kolarević's plot of 471 square meters, a second-class meadow, is under mortgage with one of the commercial banks due to a loan of 300.000 euros. According to the documentation, the loan was taken with a repayment term of 72 months, and the mortgage was registered on April 15.
According to the documentation submitted to MORT, Kolarević owns two plots of land in the cadastral municipality of Sutvara - 294 and 471 square meters, which he bought.
In the application for construction, it is stated that the building is intended for "housing in the service of business and tourism - a hostel, which should have a ground floor and two floors".
MORT issued the decision, i.e. the permit for the construction of the hostel, at the beginning of last year.
In the request, Kolarević stated the auto-camp in Kotor as the address. On the site of the former auto-camp in the Kotor settlement Dobrota, as previously reported by the Network for the Affirmation of the Non-Governmental Sector (MANS), the tourist resort "Dobrota Palazzi & Spa" of the company "MP Enterprises" from Kotor, which is controlled by Kolarević, was built.
The company "MP Enterprise" was founded by the offshore company "Agneta Investments Limited" from Cyprus. According to records from the Cypriot commercial register obtained by MANS, the company "Agneta Investments Limited" was founded by Kolarević with a Greek on February 2010, XNUMX in Limassol.
In the summer of 2013, his company appears as the "project holder" of the construction of a new tourist resort in Dobrota.
The government issued "MP Enterprises" a permit to build on the site of the former auto-camp, referring to the Law on Spatial Planning and Building Construction and defining the project "Dobrota Palazzi" as "a facility of general interest".
The Center for Sustainable Spatial Development "Expeditio" from Kotor previously submitted an initiative for the protection of the auto-camping complex in Dobrota, because they are concerned about "planned interventions that threaten to destroy this complex, which represents a characteristic example of XNUMXth century architecture, and threaten the value of the area of Kotor that is on the UNESCO World Heritage List".
The investors announced that the tourist resort "Dobrota Palazzi & Spa" will cover an area of 12 square meters. The company controlled by Kolarević intends to build a four-star hotel, outbuildings with a total capacity of 270 beds, residential villas, swimming pools, a spa and beauty salon, restaurants and a beach bar, a yacht mooring and a parking garage.
