As part of the activities of the Igman Initiative on the realization of the project "Regional Barometer - measuring the index of regional cooperation", which is carried out in four countries of the region (Croatia, BiH, Serbia and Montenegro), a meeting of representatives of the Initiative and the European Movement in Montenegro was held in Podgorica today.
As announced by the initiative for regional cooperation, the president of the Council of the Igman Initiative for Serbia and the director of the Center for Regionalism from Novi Sad, Aleksandar Popov, informed the co-president of the Initiative for Montenegro Branislav Radulović and member of the Council of the Initiative for Regional Cooperation Igor Lukšić about the published reports and the methodology used so far. was used to measure the index of cooperation for the countries of the region in the fields of politics (parliamentary cooperation and ministries of foreign affairs), society (universities and academies) and economy (chambers of commerce and associations).
"The expert team on the project consisted of Senada Selo Šabić, Institute for Development and International Relations from Zagreb (Croatia), Nerzuk Ćurak, professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo (BiH) and Milan Antonijević, co-president of the Igman Initiative for Serbia. considered the possibility of cooperation with the European Movement in Montenegro, during which the President of the EP Momčilo Radulović expressed his interest in the project "Regional Barometer - measuring the index of regional cooperation", through the intensified cooperation of the two associations, to be further improved and continued in the next cycles," the announcement states.
It is added that the participants of the meeting additionally discussed other issues related to regional cooperation, EU integration and further activities aimed at affirming the Berlin Process for the countries of the Western Balkans.
