During the weekend, Ulcinj hosted the first Congress of Montenegrin architects, where 130 architects from Montenegro gathered.
As stated in the announcement, the Congress of the Chief State Architect was organized by the Professional Chamber of Architects in partnership with the Association of Architects of Montenegro as part of the annual Professional Training Program for the members of the Engineering Chamber of Montenegro.
"The Congress was opened by Novica Mitrović, President of the Professional Chamber of Architects and Zorica Krsmanović - State Secretary in the Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism. The Congress was also attended by representatives of the Directorate of the Chief State Architect and Architecture Development, led by Chief State Architect Vladan Stevović. It was presented the work of the Directorate, within which the Directorate for the Development and Promotion of Architecture and the Directorate for Control and Improvement of the Quality of Conceptual Architectural Solutions and Urban Projects operate," they state in the announcement.
As they add, Stevović spoke about the method of creating conceptual solutions, legal obligations and the content of technical documentation for the creation of Conceptual Solutions, as well as the frequent doubts that planners face when applying the regulations that regulate the form of the planning document and the creation of technical documentation.
The head of the Directorate for Development and Promotion of Architecture, Viktorija Nikolić with her associate Tamara Marković, presented the work of the Directorate, its role and the planned program of activities within the Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism of Montenegro.
"The frameworks in which the Directorate operates relate to: Drafting of strategic documents - regulations, of which the current state guidelines for the development of architecture are currently being drafted, organizing exhibitions and participating in international architectural exhibitions with a focus on the Architecture Biennale in Venice, which is open from May 20 to 26 November of this year and the affirmation of architectural practices, cooperation with universities, professional associations of architects and the reaffirmation of the architectural heritage with an emphasis on the architecture of the 20th century in order to preserve and revalue it," the announcement reads.
Through the presentation "Concept of new laws", the chief state architect together with the general director of the Directorate for Spatial Planning and Information Systems - Marina Izgarević Pavićević spoke about the concept of a new set of legal solutions: the Law on Spatial Planning, the Law on Construction of Buildings and the Law on Legalization of Illegal Buildings . After the presentation, there was a panel discussion with moderator Maja Delić - member of the Executive Board of the Professional Chamber of Architects IKCG and assistant director of the Directorate for Capital Projects, which created an active dialogue with the participants of the congress, where the aforementioned topic was discussed and all the questions of interested architectural professionals were answered. profession.
