Nature Park (PP) "Piva" successfully realized the second kayaking regatta on Lake Piva, and over 40 kayakers from Plužine and other municipalities of Montenegro took part, as well as participants of the kayaking school that they organized on the lake fifteen days ago.
"Finally, we were served by sunny and warm weather, so the response was excellent. It was beautiful to see such a number and colorful colors of one- and two-seater kayaks on the lake. Although we originally announced the route from Mratinje to Plužine, we decided not to for the safety of all participants. decided to shorten the route, so the route was driven from the city beach in Plužine to the 'Tišina' camp and back, with a total length of about eight kilometers", announced PP "Piva".
As they pointed out, they were pleased with the large number of younger participants, as well as the full level of the lake.
"Pivsko jezero, with a length of 42 kilometers, with branches of the rivers Vrbnica and Komarnica, has exceptional conditions for the development of this type of sport, as well as other water sports, so we expect that these potentials will be developed to an even greater extent in the coming years", they said from PP "Piva".
