The Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism announced that the workbook of the Directorate for Inspection Supervision was found after the case was reported to the police.
They said that a detailed inspection by the police inspectors established that there were no erasures or correspondences in the report.
"The document was found in a place that was inspected several times in the previous days, which means that it was returned after the case was reported to the police and published in the media," the statement added.
They said that Minister Ana Novaković Đurović initiated all procedures for determining responsibility in the ministry, which "will soon have an epilogue".
They were informed by the inspector that the case will be forwarded to the competent prosecutor.
"For now, the most important thing is that the work of the ministry in this segment functions smoothly, and this failed attempt at compromise will have an adequate response," the ministry concludes.
