Vulić: Discrimination and assimilation of Muslims has been going on for too long

President of the Council of Muslims of Montenegro, Sabrija Vulić, sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the upcoming religious holiday.

"On my own behalf and on behalf of all members of the Council of the Muslim People of Montenegro, we wish a happy and blessed upcoming Eid to all ethnic Muslims as well as other believers of the Islamic faith in Montenegro.

"We believe that this year's Ramadan fast will bring sobriety to Montenegrin Muslims, and that discrimination and assimilation of Muslims in our country, which has been going on for too long, more than two decades, will end.

"We also send our congratulations to the clergy of the Islamic religious community, led by Reis Rifat ef. Fejzić, while reminding them that they are the servants of all believers, regardless of their national identity. Bajram Šerif Mubarek Olsun," wrote Vulić.
