The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MPNI) will, based on the conclusion of the Government of Montenegro, form an Interdepartmental Working Group that will deal with the verification of foreign educational documents at private and public educational institutions in the region.
The working group will consist of representatives of this Ministry, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Finance, Public Administration, the Police Directorate, the State Prosecutor's Office, the Directorate for Inspection Affairs, the Employers' Union and the Chamber of Commerce and representatives of NGOs/Citizens' Associations.
"The primary task of the Working Group will be to propose a model for verifying foreign educational documents on completed secondary and higher education acquired at private and public educational institutions in the region. Also, through cooperation with employers, primarily in the public sector, the Working Group will ensure verification of employees' educational documents persons", stated in the MPNI statement.
In this way, they explain, the Ministry and the Government, with a systematic approach, will stand in the way of abuses of the way of obtaining educational documents at all levels of education.
"This represents a decisive step by the Ministry and the Government of Montenegro towards the establishment of an adequate mechanism for the recognition and evaluation of quality education," the announcement concludes.
