After successfully organized free educational workshops for young people within the SIA caravan in Pljevlja, Herceg Novi and Berane, NGO Center for Youth Education this week continues with the implementation of workshops at Montenegrin universities.

The events are realized as part of the largest European program of support for social entrepreneurship of young people, Social Impact Award (SIA). The workshops are intended for young people between the ages of 15 and 30 who are interested in socially responsible entrepreneurship and need support and help in realizing their business idea.

Starting in 11: 45h, he will transfer his knowledge to the students of the University of Donja Gorica Ljiljana Burzan Nikolić, executive director of BI Communication at the workshop called The art of business, while the students of the Mediterranean University will be able to hear Matija Dautović, expert associate at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) starting at 11 h as part of the workshop called Resources for business development.

The idea behind all three workshops is for young people to get to know what makes a business socially responsible, as well as to get guidance on how to create and submit their idea to the SIA competition.

Through the one-year duration of the SIA program, young people are given the opportunity to be additionally informed about the importance of social entrepreneurship, as well as the opportunities it offers, to receive the necessary instructions and directions from mentors who are recognized professionals in their fields and to successfully realize their business idea that would potentially survive on the market even after implementation. In the course of, but also after the formal end of this socially responsible project, they will be provided with support from partners at Social Impact Award (SIA) program, both in Montenegro and Europe.

Three winning teams selected by the expert jury and one selected by the online community also expect initial capital for the realization of the idea in the amount of 1.500 euros, mentoring support, as well as the opportunity to present the acquired knowledge and skills at the international SIA Summit, which is being held this year in Mainheim (Germany).
