Valencia basketball players defeated Zaragoza 76:70 last night in the 4th round of the Spanish Endesa League, and Bojan Dubljević made history.
The Nikšić native scored 27 points in just over 19 minutes and became the most effective Valencia basketball player in the history of the Endesa League.
Dubljević has 3.701 points and has overtaken Rafa Martinez (3.692).
"I am proud. I will continue to work in order to score even more points," Dubljević said, among other things, after the match.
Dubljević finished the match with seven rebounds and four assists with an index of 24.
After four matches, Valencia has two wins and two losses.
Dubljević has been in Valencia since 2012. He won the Eurocup twice (2014 and 2019), then the Spanish League in 2017 and the Spanish Supercup in the same year.
When Valencia defeated Real 3-1 in the final and won the Endesa League, the man from Nikšić was named the most valuable player of the final series.
He was twice selected in the ideal five of the Eurocup, and in 2013 and 2014 he was declared a rising star of this competition.
