Aleksandar Džikić believes that in the 7th round of the Eurocup, Gran Canaria achieved a well-deserved victory in Podgorica (83:76) thanks to better shooting.
"This was a difficult game for us. At times I thought we were close, but we missed open shots and they didn't. They started and finished the game as expected from an experienced team," said Džikić.
The match was also emotional because the "barbarians" paid tribute to Marko Lazarević and Miljan Bobičić, who died on this day two years ago.
"Thanks to the fans, the game was emotional because of them. They paid tribute to their comrades who passed away two years ago, this is also a sad event for us".
