Jelena Škerović will remain the basketball coach of Montenegro until 2024, it was decided at the session of the Board of Directors of the Basketball Association of Montenegro.
Škerović has been leading the Montenegrin ladies from the bench since 2019, when she replaced the Spaniard Roberto Injiges.
He led Montenegro to two Eurobaskets (2019 and 2021), and both times our basketball players finished in 12th place.
This summer, in Israel and Slovenia, they will have a new appearance at the European Championship - Montenegro's rivals will be Spain, Greece and Latvia.
As announced by KSCG at the session, which was chaired by the first man of the association Nikola Peković, it was decided that the new U16 men's national team selector will be Petar Jovanović, and the Management Board adopted the "Work Program and Financial Plan" for the year 2023.
