After the brawl in Madrid, apologies began - Real Madrid basketball players Gershon Jabusele and Sergio Ljulj wrote on social networks that they were sorry for everything that happened in the match with Partizan in the Euroleague quarterfinals.
"I deeply regret my behavior at last night's game. Basketball is sportsmanship and friendship. My sincere apologies to Partizan, a club with which we have always had excellent relations, Dante Exum and his family, my teammates, my club and all the fans," he wrote is Jabusele, who in the chaos in Madrid knocked down Exum with a wrestling move and injured him on that occasion.
Ljulj took responsibility and apologized for the rough foul on Kevin Panter that caused a general brawl.
"What happened last night shouldn't happen on the basketball court. I take responsibility for the rough foul that caused the disaster that followed. I apologize to all basketball fans," Ljulj wrote on his Twitter account.
Partizan basketball players took a 2:0 lead against Real Madrid in the quarterfinals of the Euroleague, as they won 95:80 last night in Spain, in a game that was interrupted a minute and 40 seconds before the end due to a general brawl on the court.

Late last night, the Euroleague confirmed the victory of Partizan and the lead in the series of 2:0, but also stated that within 24 hours decisions on penalties will be made.
The third game of this series is scheduled for Tuesday in the Belgrade Arena.
