The Assembly of the Basketball Association of Montenegro, scheduled for today at 13 p.m., ended before it even began - due to the lack of quorum, there were no conditions for the work and voting of the new board of directors, which was practically the only item on the agenda.
At the session, 38 delegates appeared, out of 84, five (43) were missing for the quorum.
What does all this mean?
The "Gordi's knot" that was tied at the top of the KSCG by two opposing currents has not been untied, and worst of all, basketball is falling apart - namely, the start of all competitions under the patronage of the Basketball Association is being postponed, due to the lack of organs.
KSCG President Nikola Peković convened a meeting to vote on a new Board of Directors (the previous one's term expired in January) and to unblock the Association's work, as the former Montenegrin national team player and NBA center himself said in one of his announcements.
In the previous management committee, there were people who lead the second, opposing "current", led by Pekovic's predecessor at the head of the KSCG, Veselin Barovic, whose delegates did not appear at today's assembly session.
The holding of a new electoral Assembly of the KSCG is looming.
