The President of the Basketball Association of Montenegro, Nikola Peković, called on the delegates to support his proposal to organize an extraordinary session of the KSCG Assembly, and for all members of the Association and delegates not to fall prey, as he said, to a premeditated action to revive the Board of Directors to illegally take over the management of the Association. .
Yesterday, the Basketball Federation of Montenegro informed the public on its official website that a meeting of the Board of Directors is scheduled for Saturday, where important decisions should be made for the start of the club seasons.
Peković, however, emphasizes in the announcement that it has been unequivocally established that the mandate of the KSCG Board of Directors has expired.
"I hereby appeal to everyone that by organizing a session of the non-existent Management Board, they enter the zone of criminal responsibility and refrain from the announced activities," Peković pointed out.
He emphasized how important it is to organize an extraordinary session of the Assembly.
"The president of the KSCG, the president of the Assembly of the KSCG and the Management Board would be re-elected at it, because that is the only legal, statutory and correct solution to this consciously organized blockade of the work of the KSCG", Peković pointed out.
He says that if the gentlemen have, as they persistently repeat, a majority, then there is no reason or justification for them not to accept the said proposal.
"Finally, instead of media hype and spin, I remind the entire sports and basketball public that KSCG can function without a president, but it cannot function without the Board of Directors," Peković concluded.
