Igor Lukšić gave up his candidacy for the president of the Basketball Association of Montenegro, reports Antena M.
On June 16, Lukšić was a candidate for the president of the Association, but that session was not held, because the agenda of the KSCG Assembly, which had been prepared, was not voted on.
"To avoid any confusion in the sports public, I was a candidate in June at the suggestion of over 20 clubs and therefore saw it as an obligation to accept responsibility. Unfortunately, the session was not held then and today the Association is in serious trouble. I am certainly no longer in game, and I hope that the new president will be elected soon," said Lukšić for Antena M.
The candidates for president of the KSCG are Nikola Peković and Jelena Dubljević, who confirmed her candidacy for CDM earlier today.
