A camp organized by the Basketball Association of Montenegro (KSCG) was held in Sutomore from January 8 to 11, where the selectors gathered talented boys and girls in four age categories.
KSCG said that the coordinators of the camp were the selectors of the senior selections, Boško Radović and Jelena Škerović.
"During the camp, there were girls (born in 2010), as well as three age categories for boys - pioneers, cadets and juniors. The girls up to 14 years old were gathered by coach Lidija Bečanović, who was assisted in her work by coach Nemanja Grabovica, and there were a total of 18 young basketball players from several Montenegrin clubs. Pioneers' selector Boris Bakić gathered 15 players, of which 12 were boys born in 2011, as well as three one year younger. Selector Demir Kalić and coach Stefan Miličković worked with the cadets, who gathered 24 players, who were divided into two groups, and the camp was a good opportunity to get a first glimpse of all the potential national team members, who are expected this summer in the European B Championship. "Goran Bošković was worked with the players by coaches Marko Sekulić and Ranko Čarapić, and during four days there were 18 players together," KSCG announced.
The training sessions took place in the hall of SC "Topolica" and in the hall of Elementary School "Anto Đedović", and the first meeting in 2024 "was useful for all potential national team members, but also for the selectors to see the current form of all players in action."
