Real's great basketball player Sergio Ljulj suffered a serious knee injury last night while playing for the Spanish national team against Belgium.
In one penetration, Ljulj stopped awkwardly and tore ligaments, so he will miss Eurobasket, and will not play at least until the end of this year.
"Additional examinations will be carried out today, but it is certain that he will not be part of the team for the European Championship," announced the Spanish Basketball Federation.
"Furija" unexpectedly lost the control game against Belgium 89:71.
Spain is the rival of Montenegro in the Eurobasket group.
These two selections open the competition on August 31.
