Nemanja Radović has been a legend in Murcia for a long time, and yesterday he confirmed it once again - in the match against Granada, the Montenegrin representative became the best scorer in the club's history.
Murcia won 91:78, and Radović finished the game with six points and overtook Ralf McPearson in the first place on the Spanish club's all-time list. Radović is currently on 2.084 points, McPearson remained two points less.
The Montenegrin representative broke the record at the end of the game, and after his points there was an eruption in the hall.
"An incredible moment, I'm excited. A special moment for me in a special club like Murcia," said Radović after the game.
Radović arrived in Murcia 10 years ago. He stayed until 2017, then returned in 2020. His current contract expires in 2025.
Murcia is playing well this season. In the Endesa League, it ranks fifth with 26 points, and in the Cup it will play against Real Madrid, which it defeated in mid-January in the championship.
"The cup has a special significance. We are focused on that game. It will not be easy for Real. I am sure that we will play excellently," said Radović.
