Nothing new when it comes to the matches between Budućnost Voli and Zadar this season - after the Super Cup and two games in the league, the "blues" defeated their rivals from Dalmatia in two playoff matches.
The Montenegrin champion thus advanced to the semi-finals of the AdmiralBet ABA League for the ninth time in a row with a score of 2:0.
"We expected a tough second game, and that's how it was - it's always difficult to play here. Zadar is a basketball city and the fans were again at the level," Andrej Žakelj, coach of Budućnost, said after the match.

The only bad period the "blues" had was during the first five minutes of the third quarter, after which they put things in their place with a 9:0 series.
"Again, we started softer than we agreed, we didn't have an enviable shooting day, we had problems in the jump, which is normal against Zadar, but in the end we managed to break the match with defense and easy points, and I think we deservedly celebrated in the series". Žakelj added.
Buducnost will play in the semifinals against the better team from the duel between Partizan and Igokea - the Belgrade club is currently leading 1:0 and is a big favorite, but the Slovenian expert did not want to talk about the potential rival.
"There is still time to play, and I never want to talk in advance - today the focus was on Zadar and I think the boys played the game properly," Žakelj emphasized.
However, he had a message before the semi-finals.
"Now we have to keep our heads down and see who will be our opponent. A semi-final is a semi-final and it is always played in order to go to the final," Žakelj concluded.
