For the second time in a row, and the third overall, Podgorica basketball players are playing in the semi-finals of the NLB ABA2 league.
Dragan Radović's team will host Vojvodina, which was better than Sutjeska in the quarter-finals, tomorrow (17) in "Bemax Arena". In the previous round, Podgorica eliminated Zlatibor, while in the regular part, in the "balloon" match in Široki Brijeg, they beat Novi Sad (77:71).
"After two excellent games in the quarterfinals of the ABA2 league against the Zlatibor team, we welcome Vojvodina with great desire and motivation in the semifinals of the regional competition. We expect an extremely demanding game against a very high-quality team, which has shown that it plays at an enviable level, both through the regular part, as well as at the beginning of the playoffs," Podgorica first team player Danilo Brnović told the club's website.
The second match is on May 2 in Novi Sad.
"I have no doubt that we will respond energetically to their fast game, which adorns them, and impose our rhythm. It will be a very exciting double match, which we will try to play as well as possible. In the first match, I hope that in another nice environment, our hall to succeed in winning," said Brnović.
The second semi-final pair consists of MZT and Spartak from Subotica.
