In a conversation with American journalists, the Montenegrin NBA ace briefly confirmed that he will lead our national team during the qualifiers for the Paris Games during the summer.
"My next duties await me with the national team in the Olympic Games qualifiers," said Vucevic.
At the qualification tournament, which will be held from July 2 to 7 in Riga, Montenegro will play in a group with Cameroon and Brazil, while Latvia, Georgia and the Philippines are in the second group. Two selections from each group go to the semi-finals, and the winner of the tournament to Paris.
If they skip Riga, our basketball players will find themselves in a group with Germany, France and Japan at the Olympic Games.
