After a good season in the jersey of SC Derby, it's time for a big challenge - the talented basketball player of the Podgorica club Luka Bogavac applied for the NBA draft.
Basketball manager Miško Ražnatović announced this news on the X social network.
Bogavac played an average of 18,1 minutes for the "students" in the AdmiralBet ABA League this season, scored eight points per match, and had 2,5 rebounds and 1,5 assists.
The young Montenegrin basketball player plays in the position of combo guard, and he arrived at SC Derbi this summer from Podgorica, where he played excellently last season.
Before Podgorica, Bogavac played for Mega and with that team won the junior ABA league in 2021.
The son of the famous basketball player Nebojša Bogavac won a bronze medal with the young national team of Montenegro at the European Championship in Podgorica two summers ago.
He was also on the extended list of Montenegro coach Boško Radović for last year's Mundobasket.
This year's NBA draft is scheduled for June 26 and 27 in Brooklyn.
