The president of Partizan, Ostoja Mijailović, confirmed - Željko Obradović has extended his contract and will remain the coach of the "black and whites".
Mijailović said that Obradović extended his contract with Partizan for two years.
"We called you this morning, I apologize for that. Mr. Željko Obradović has extended his contract for two more seasons. I congratulate Željko and all Partizan fans, we have a great period ahead of us. We have all worked together a lot on the plan of development and growth. We are the most watched team in Europe , we all succeeded in this project - from the management, the players, the people working in the club. This is a collective success. The fans always see success only through trophies. Last season we won the AdmiralBet league, which is a great success ", Mijailović said at today's conference, reports Mozzartsport.
Željko Obradović arrived at Partizan in 2021, when he signed a three-year contract.
"We all know what Partizan means to Željka and what Željko means to Partizan. We decided on two years because that's how long my mandate lasts. He can stay as long as he wants, and I believe it will be for a long time. This is a big thing for our further growth and development, to be a permanent member of the Euroleague," said Mijailović.
Partizan, with Obradović, won the AdmiralBet ABA League last season after 10 years, while in the Euroleague, they were eliminated in the quarterfinals by Real.

On Tuesday (18:30), Partizan welcomes Budućnost Voli in the first match of the semifinals of the regional competition.
