The basketball players of Budućnost Volija are expecting the first semi-final match of the AdmiralBet ABA League next week - the "blues" are visiting Partizan, the current champion, on Tuesday (18:30).
Before the first meeting, the center of the Montenegrin champion, Marvin Jones, says that Budućnost can beat any team, even the "black and white".
"To be honest, I think we can beat anyone who steps on the field. I'm confident, I feel confident with the team. We prepare hard every day, so I'm not worried," Jones said.
The "blue" center expects a strong series.
"I expect an aggressive, physically strong series. It's two big clubs, two strong clubs, with a lot of history. We'll come out strong, we'll play aggressively, we'll come out with the intention of winning," said Jones.
Partizan announced yesterday that it has extended the contract with coach Željko Obradović until 2026.
"We have to defend our players. They have a great coach. He will want to put them in a position to be aggressive, every player. I wouldn't mention any players in particular, because every basketball player can score points. We have to be focused. We always respect our opponent, but we can't wait for matches like this," Jones said.
The second game is on the seventh of May (18) in "Morača", the eventual master three days later in Belgrade.
