The Montenegrin representative, Kendrick Perry, was declared the most valuable player (MVP) of the final tournament of the FIBA Champions League, which ended tonight in Belgrade.
Tonight Peri led Unicaha to the first, historic triumph in this competition. The team from Malaga defeated Tenerife (80:75) in the final, and Peri was the most effective with 17 points (6/9 from the field), with one assist and two rebounds and a steal each.
In the semi-final against Murcia, the Montenegrin representative had 12 points and three rebounds.
Perija was presented with the MVP trophy tonight by former Yugoslav national team member and current president of Vojvodina, Željko Rebrača.

Peri was previously selected in the first five of the FIBA Champions League. This season he averaged 11,8 points, 2,5 rebounds and 3,6 assists.
The guy from Florida arrived in Unicaja two years ago and won the Spanish Cup with this team last season.
