Stefan Milić became the captain of Budućnost when he was just 18 years old - the talented stopper, who will come of age next month, signed his first professional contract and received the captain's armband.
He pledged his loyalty to the club until 2022.
Milić grew up in Budućnost, went through all the younger categories, and was a first team member for two years.
Milić is the captain of the youth national team, and he also made his debut for the U-20 national team this month against Finland.
"With his professional attitude and efforts on and off the field, Stefan Milić has earned the respect of the coaching staff and management, and in the next competition season, as one of the youngest captains in the club's history, he will lead his teammates in the challenges that await them," the club's press release states.
"I am very happy about signing a professional contract with the club where I grew up and for whom I support. Thank you to the people from the management who recognized my efforts and I believe that I will live up to expectations," said Milić for the Budućnosti website.
