The cadet football team of Montenegro defeated Cyprus 2:0 in the second friendly match in Paralimni.
Radovan Kavaja's team lost the first match between them 2:1.
Montenegro took the lead in the 41st minute – Vuk Pavićević made a good pass on the left side and assisted Andrija Vukoj, who hit the home team's net.
Just three minutes later, the Montenegrin selection increased the advantage - Viktor Bubanja found Aleksa Perišić with a long ball, who made an excellent pass into the penalty area and found Marko Đokaj.
Kavaja said that he must be satisfied after a good game and victory, stating that it could have been more convincing.
"From the start, the approach was right, and when the execution is good, then there is the result. It is especially gratifying that the boys recognized some moments in the game, especially in situations when we are leading, which showed their maturity, that way they can become real competitors. We played against a quality, but above all, extremely strong team, so the boys were often at the limits of their abilities," said Kavaja.
