Real Madrid could offer a new one-year contract to Luka Modric, the most influential Spanish sports media write.
A new one-year extension "would be well-deserved", points out "Marka", while "As" states that the Croat's stay at Real until June 2025 would be "a scenario that should not be rejected".
The excellent roles of the 38-year-old master against Manchester City and Barcelona once again forced Real to consider an extension. Although he is approaching his fifth decade, the man who won as many as 24 trophies with the "royal club" - five of which were the Champions League, could still contribute.
Modrić's contract expires in two months, and he is eagerly awaited by Zagreb's Dinamo, as well as Slovenia's Celje.
