Former Argentina national team player and now Independiente coach Carlos Tevez was admitted to the hospital due to chest pains, Independiente reported today.
Tevez was transferred to a hospital in Buenos Aires and will remain there until medical examinations are completed, the BBC reported.
In a statement on the X social network, Independiente stated that Tevez's tests were "satisfactory" but that he will remain in hospital as a precaution.
Tevez played 76 games for the Argentine national team in the period from 2004 to 2015, and in August 2023 he became the first coach of Independiente.
