The coach of Feyenoord, Arne Slott, will be the manager of Liverpool next season, Fabrizio Romano and the English media reported last night.
Slot will succeed Jurgen Klopp on the Liverpool bench, who announced in January that he was retiring at the end of the season.
Feyenoord agreed to a compensation of 9,4 million pounds, and before signing the contract, the details of the contract between Slot and Liverpool remain to be agreed, the BBC reported.
Slott won the Dutch league title with Feyenoord last season, and won the Dutch Cup this season.
The English media also reported that the key reasons for choosing Slot as the new coach of Liverpool are his attacking style of play and his ability to develop players.
