Rudar football club issued a statement stating that it was injured during the matches against Jedinstva and Mladost.
Rudar calls on the Football Association of Montenegro (FSCG) to "protect them from injustice."
Yesterday, in the 32nd round of the MeridianBet First Montenegrin Football League, the team from Pljevlja lost away to Mladost, so they are in last place with four points less than yesterday's rival, who is in the play-off zone.
The press release from Rudar is transmitted in its entirety:
"During this season, we didn't announce ourselves in public after matches in which we were obviously damaged, and referees' mistakes directly affected the result, but now we have to.
There were unjudged penalties against Sutjeska (94th minute), Mornar, Budućnost, and our opponents were also denied in some situations (Mornar, Petrovac). Just as our team is the youngest in the league, there are also a lot of young referees, and mistakes are an integral part of the game and that's how we accepted them. However, the last two cases were completely different, in matches against direct opponents in the fight for survival, Jedinstva in Pljevlja and Mladost Donja Gorica in Podgorica. To make matters worse, they were judged by our best and most experienced referees - Nikola Dabanović and Radoje Pajović. The common thing in both matches is that the gentlemen in black judged every disputed situation and ruled in favor of our opponent.
Not to mention those "softer" situations that are too numerous to describe - of course each one was interpreted in favor of the opponent. Thus, in Pljevlja, Dabanović gifted the visitors from Bijelo Polje a goal for the lead by not awarding an obvious foul in the attack, without seeing or wanting to see at least two obvious fouls for a penalty kick. Compared to these two situations, the penalty that his colleague Pajović awarded (gifted) to the Mladost team looks ridiculous, to say the least! However, Mr. Pajović's performance and criteria from the first minute were questionable and directed in favor of only one team, so much so that he could comfortably wear a yellow jersey like the home team. His intention to push the team was more than obvious and it was as if he could hardly wait for the moment from the 48th minute when he marked a slight contact (if there was any) as a foul and awarded a penalty to our opponent.
It is unnecessary to speak and comment on his behavior and treatment of our players and coaching staff on the field. Mr. Pajović seems to like to determine which team should be relegated from the league because everyone knows the case when he gave a penalty to Podgorica in stoppage time at this same stadium and sent Zeta to the Second League.
We ask the FSCG to protect us from injustice. Everyone is aware that due to the blocking of the account and the difficult situation in the club, we hardly found a way to continue the competition at all. For all these reasons, we failed to bring in enough much-needed reinforcements to meet the objective. However, these guys give their maximum together with all of us in the club, as far as we know and can under the given circumstances, and that's why we don't want someone to play with us like Messrs. Dabanović and Pajović, and take our fate into their own hands.
Our fans who are outraged are asking us to leave the league and wait for the final decision on the match at DG Arena, and only then play. Maybe they're right, because it's more like this," reads the Rudar press release, which is signed by president Miloš Radanović.
